PPMS Innopac Patron File

This job group creates an extract file of employee information. Active employees are selected by Employee Type. The extract file is formatted to the patron load file specifications for input to the Univ. of WA Innopac library system.

The output file, LS9101S, can then FTP'ed from the Data group on the HP3000 to the /incomming/ directory on a file server.

Parameters

CONF-OPT Indicates if an employee's address and/or phone should be included if that information is noted as confidential. Valid entries: 'P' - Do not include phone numbers that are noted as confidential. 'A' - Do not include addresses that are noted as confidential. 'B' - Do not include phone numbers or addresses that are noted as confidential.
blank - Include all addresses and phone numbers regardless of their confidentiality.
DEPT The Department that the student or employee library patrons are assigned to. This field is also known as 'Pcode3'. For example, 031
PATRON-EXPIR-DT Identifies the date to be assigned as the Expiration Date for the library patrons. Format is MMDDYY
PATRON-TYP-1 The Employee Type to be selected along with the associated library Patron Type assigned to those employees. The Employee Type is one character long. The Patron Type is three characters long. Each Employee Type and Patron Type pair is seperated by a comma (,). Up to three Employee Type and Patron Type pairs can be entered on one line. For example, to select Classified Staff with a Patron Type of '015 and, Faculty with a Patron Type of '016', the parameter entered woud be: C,015 F,016
