Data Express Extract Ftp Binary

This job uses Data Express to create an extract file named with the value of the DX7-NAME parameter. (See ZX2111J for Data Express scheduling information). Then, the job ftp's this extract file in BINARY MODE to a remote processor using the remote filename plus remote file extension. BINARY MODE is used to transfer BINARY files, e.g. files with DBF file extension.

DX1-PROC-NAME Enter the name (1-10 char.) of the catalogued procedure to be run. (Required)
DX2-CATALOG-GRP Enter the name of the group (1-8 char.) of the Data Express catalogue from which the procedure is to be run. (Required)
DX3-CATALOG-ACCT Enter the name of the account (1-8 char.) of the Data Express catalog from which the procedure is to be run. (Required)
DX4-PROC-PASS Enter the password (1-8 char.) of the procedure to be run. (Optional). NOTE: If the procedure has been catalogued with a password, it must be entered.
Enter the responses necessary to provide selection criteria for the DATAX procedure. The responses must be entered in the exact order the DATAX procedure prompts for them. Review the procedure definition in DATAX to find the selection criteria sequence. Do not enter a response for selection criteria that have values imbedded in the procedure. For a 'SELECT ALL' response enter '*' rather than leaving it blank. A blank response will be ignored rather than being interpreted as 'SELECT ALL'. NOTE: You will not see the "SELECTED BY" data element names when scheduling this job.
DX6-INCL-SUMMARY Leave blank for DBASE (29) format. If Data Express procedure includes summary lines enter "Y" to have them sent to the file or "N" to exclude them from the file. If procedure being used does NOT include summary lines leave BLANK.
DX7-NAME Enter the HP3000 file name (1-8 char.) that is to be saved. First character must be alphabetic and must not include special characters (i.e. -, /, or #).
FTPPASS The password of the FTPUSER logging onto the server that will receive the ftp'd file. This field is case sensitive.
FTPUSER The user id that will log onto the server for the
ftp. This field is case sensitive.
REMOTE-DIRECTORY The Remote Directory to which the file will be ftp'd. This field is case sensitive.
REMOTE-EXT The name of the file extension for the file after it has been ftp'd to a remove server. This field is case sensitive.
REMOTE-FILENAME The name of the file after it has been ftp'd to the remote server.
REMOTE-SYSTEM The Name or IP Address of the remote system to which the file will be ftp'd.
