Finaid Excessive Credits Report

This job produces a summary report and a detailed extract file containing students whos total credits exceed the allowable credits for aid eligibility. The State Need Grant program has a maximum of 125% while the Pell program has a maximum of 150%.

The detailed extract file is a comma-delimited file formatted to be imported into an Excel spreadsheet. It contains Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, SSN, SID, Student Intent Code, Student Program Code, Credits on Transcript, Transferred Credits, Total FA Applicable Credits, Exceeds 125% Indicator, and Exceeds 150% Indicator. Use screen SM9204 to download the file.

Processing Table entry CIS|WCC|SM9104-TRK-ST-S allows you to identify a single track code that will be posted to students who exceed their program hours by 125%. It is optional.

Processing Table entry CIS|WCC|SM9104-TRK-ST-P allows you to identify a single track code that will be posted to students who exceed their program hours by 150%. It is optional.

INCL-TRNSFR-CR Enter Y to include credits listed as Transfer Credits on screen SM2001 in the student's total earned credits; enter N to exclude those credits.
YR-SES-START Enter the first year session for the Academic year (for example, A891 or A901).
