SM9108J Finaid Biographic Update From SMS

Crosswalk information is entered in the following format: X=YY,YY X=YY X=YY,YY etc. Where X = the SMS residency status code (1 character) and YY = the corresponding FINAID residency status code(s).

More than one FINAID residency status code may be assigned to each SMS code (separate by a comma). An example of the residency status crosswalk is: 1=WA,SR 2=NR,FR 3=UN

SMS Residency status may be overridden based on Student Fee Pay Status using TABLE-MAS entry WCCSM9108-FEE-PAY. The format is FF=R FF=R FF=R FF=R where FF= the Student Fee Pay Stat and R = the residency status override. Ex: 23=1 will treat students with a Fee Pay Stat of 23 (refugees) as Residency Code = 1.
