SM9550J Finaid Electronic Award Extract
This job can run in preliminary, report-only mode, wherein a report of qualifying students is produced, but the extract file is not. Conversely, the job can run in final, extract-only mode, wherein qualifying students are written to the extract file, but no report is produced.
The user provides at least one and no more than five Year-Sessions within a single academic year. For those Year-Sessions, the job qualifies Student Award Detail records against key value criteria (see 'Special Instructions' below). Qualifying student records are either printed on the report, or written to the extract file. For details on the extract file, see the 'Electronic Award Letter Field Guide' published by the CIS.
A Screen 5 tracking record is generated for students included in the extract file. The date the extract file was generated is recorded in Due date. If the student is included in subsequent extract files, the date of the most recent extract is recorded in Notified date.
After the extract file has been generated, use screen SM9551 to download the extract file to your PC. Follow Nellie Mae's instructions for uploading the extract file from your PC to Nellie Mae's website.
