SNG Interim Extract/Report

This job creates the SNG Interim 'CSAW' Reconciliation extract file (SM9739S3.FAS), which is a .csv formatted file containing Served, Unserved and College Bound Scholarship info for students who are eligible for State Need Grant. This file is to be submitted to the WA Student Achievement Council (WSAC), via the Interim Reporting Tool link on the Council website.

Five reports are also printed for reviewing and correcting SNG and CBS data before submitting: A. SNG Served Students (SM9739A), B. SNG Unserved Students (SM9739B), C. SNG Combined - Served/Unserved/College Bound Scholarship Students (SM9739C), D. College Bound Scholarship Students (SM9739D), and E. SNG Interim Errors Report (SM9739E).

At least one of the following job parameters MUST be entered to help identify Unserved students: UNSRVD-AWD-STATS and/or UNSRVD-TRK-CODES. If both are specified, a student need only qualify with one of them to be reported as Unserved. Values entered in these parameters must not be entered in the STAT-CD-SEL/TRK-CD-SEL exclusion parameters (respectively).

After this job is complete, log on to the financial aid menu and select process SM9725 to download the 'CSAW' file to your PC or Network drive. This is the file you will submit to WSAC. When downloading, remember to specify the full file path where you want to save your file (example: C:\SNG\SM9739S3.CSV).

Options controlled through TABLE-MAS entries are:

WCCSNG-INST-CD = 4-digit SNG institution code (required).

WCCSNG-REPAY-CD = Tracking Code and Year/session used to identify students in SNG repayment status. Format is TT-NNNN where TT = SNG repayment tracking code and NNNN = year/session the tracking is recorded in (i.e. RP-0000).
