C.O.A. Extract For Reality Update
This job extracts Chart of Accounts data (Appropriation Index,
Program Index, Organization Index combinations) from either the
General Ledger (GL) data base or the Budget (BDGT) data base.
It also extracts data from the Subobject Table (GA1011),
Sub-subobject Table (GA1012) and the Reimbursable Code Table
(GA1075). Once the data has been extracted from the Financial
Management System located on the HP3000, a procedure is run on the
Reality purchasing software, located on a PC or LAN, to actually
load the data in the Reality posting account tables. Account
structures used in Reality are then edited/verified against the
downloaded data.
