This job will compare student data in a Data Express extract file created by the user and print a list of students who have duplicate information (i.e., students with the same name) Match criteria is selected when the job is scheduled. The students to be compared are limited to those in the Data Express extract file. Three catalogued Data Express procedures are available to create the extract file. The Data Express extract file will be purged upon successful completion of this job.

SM5115S-BASE Enter the name of the database that was used to select student information for the Data Express Extract file.
SM = SM database
SM5115S-MATCH Enter the match criteria to be used to select duplicate student information. The file output from the Data Express extract will be sorted and matched on based upon the following options:
1 = Student Name (Default)
2 = Student Last Name
3 = Student Name and Date of Birth
4 = Student Last Name and Date of Birth
5 = Student Name and Year of Birth
6 = Student Last Name and Year of Birth
SM5999S-FILE Enter the name of the Data Express extract file to be compared. Instructions for preparing the Data Express procedures can be found in the following URLs, Student Biographic (SB), Student Enrollment (SE) and Transcript Biographic (TB).
