Transfer Study Student Extract

This job extracts a file containing student data for students meeting the following criteria: --the YRQ the student actually started = YRQ parameter --the student has no previous college information on file --the student has a student intent = B for the YRQ they started --the student's SID is a valid SSN. The extracted file will be sent to the central reporting processor and will be used by SBCCE in their Student Transfer Outcomes Assessment Study.

Parameters

AGE-CALC-DATE Enter the date specified by SBCCE to be used for determining the student's age for this study. Format is YYMMDD; e.g. if SBCCE specifies they want the students' ages as of October 1, 1985, enter "851001" for this parameter.
ENGL-1-COURSE Enter the COURSE-ID (8 characters) of the first college level English course required for a transfer degree. For many colleges this will be ENGL 101. Format is dddddccc, where ddddd is the 5 character department/division abbreviation (including any imbedded blanks) and ccc is the 3 character course number. Do not enter the course suffix.
ENGL-2-COURSE Enter the COURSE-ID (8 characters) of the second college level English course required for a transfer degree. For many colleges this will be ENGL 102. Format is dddddccc, where ddddd is the 5 character department/division abbreviation (including any imbedded blanks) and ccc is the 3 character course number. Do not enter the course suffix.
MATH-COURSE Enter the COURSE-ID (8 characters) of the college level Math course required for a transfer degree. Format is dddddccc, where ddddd is the 5 character department/division abbreviation (including any embedded blanks) and ccc is the 3 character course number. Do not enter the course suffix; e.g. MATH 103.
MATH-COURSE-ALT Enter the COURSE-ID (8 characters) of the alternate course to college level Math required for a transfer degree. If the college has more than one alternate course that meets the Math requirement, enter the COURSE-ID of the class most commonly taken as the alternate. Format is dddddccc, where ddddd is the 5 character department/division abbreviation (including any embedded blanks) and ccc is the 3 character course number. Do not enter the course suffix; e.g. PHIL 120. Leave this parameter blank if there are no alternate courses offered to meet the Math requirement.
YRQ Enter the year-quarter to be processed.
