Web Course Offerings

This Job Group creates an extract file from the CLASS SCHEDULE. The extracted file is sorted in division/department and course number sequence. The sorted file is used to create a HTML formatted file of courses offered for the selected quarter. The file must be moved to a web server where it is used in WEB Schedule Planner.
Special Instructions The file must be moved the web server under the directory containing the HTML files for the Schedule Planner. To move the file to the server, you may either select to run the optional job ZX2114J as part of this job group or, you can choose to move the file manually. . The following lists the HP3000 file name and the corresponding server file name: SUMMER - SM4044S1.DATA.Pnnn to courseSum.html FALL - SM4044S2.DATA.Pnnn to courseFal.html WINTER - SM4044S3.DATA.Pnnn to courseWin.html SPRING - SM4044S4.DATA.Pnnn to courseSpr.html

Parameters

ADMIN-UNIT-LINE A maximum of 15 administrative units may be selected separated by a comma or a space.
Blank = Extract all administrative units ## = Extracts blank administrative units @X = Extracts records with the second position of administrative unit = variable X, regardless of the contents of the first position X@ = Extracts records with the first position of administrative unit = variable x, regardless of the contents of the second position
XX = Specific administrative units of value = XX
EMPL-STAT-LINE Enter up to 10 employment status codes, each separated by a comma or a space. Leave blank to select all employment status codes.
EXCLUDE-STAT-1 Option to exclude records with Section Status 1 - "X" or "Z".
Y = Exclude SECT-STAT1=X or Z
N = Include SECT-STAT1=X or Z
FND-SRC-LINE Up to 10 funding source codes may be selected, each separated by a space:
BLANK = Extracts all FND-SRC # = Extracts blank FND-SRC
X = Extracts selected FND-SRC
FTPPASS The password of the FTPUSER logging onto the server that will receive the ftp'd file. This field is case sensitive.
FTPUSER The user id that will log onto the server for the
ftp. This field is case sensitive.
HP-FILENAME The name of the file on the HP3000 that is being copied to the remove server. For example, SM4044S1
HP-GRP The name of the Group on the HP3000 where the file being copied resides. For example, DATA
IS1201-OPT Record selection from one of the following:
1 = Class Schedule
2 = Class Schedule and History
3 = Construction
IS1217S-TAPE-NUM Volume Number of the Course Schedule History
Tape. Enter only if IS1201-OPT=2.

On each line up to 6 item number ranges may be entered; each item range is to be separated with a comma or a space (i.e., 00010099,03010302). If left blank, all item numbers will be selected.
REMOTE-DIRECTORY The Remote Directory to which the file will be ftp'd. This field is case sensitive.
REMOTE-EXT The name of the file extension for the file after it has been ftp'd to a remove server. This field is case sensitive.
REMOTE-FILE-NAME The name of the file after it has been Ftp'd to the remote server. This field is case sensitive.
REMOTE-SYSTEM The Name or IP Address of the remote system to which the file will be ftp'd.


TIME-LOC-LINE Up to 15 time location codes may be selected, each separated by a space:
BLANK = Extracts all TIME-LOC # = Extracts blank TIME-LOC
X = Extracts selected TIME-LOC
TRNSFR-MODE The type of file transfer that is used to Ftp the
file. Valid entries are:
A = ASCII
B = BINARY
YRQ-LINE Enter the quarter code for the selected quarter.
